The Character that you like

Based on the short story, Cheat! by Allan Baillie, the character that I like is Lynne. There are a few reasons as to why I like this character so much. First and foremost, I like Lynne because she is gracious in accepting defeat. For example, during a short story competition, she is announced as the runner up. Although she is disappointed, she congratulates Geoff sincerely on his win. Besides, Lynne is a hardworking person. For instance, she works very hard to prepare herself for a short story competition. She has put in a lot of effort in coming up with the story. In addition, Lynne is fair. From the story, she finds out a book that has the similar storyline as Geoff. However, after she gets to know that Geoff does not cheat, she does not want to win the medal. In conclusion, The character that I like is Lynne because she is gracious in accepting defeat, hardworking and fair. This character makes the story interesting.
