Character I like

Based on the drama, A Night Out by O’Henry, the character that I like is Marian. There are a few reasons as to why I like this character so much. First and foremost, I like Marian because she is a down-to-earth person. For example, she does not emphasise much on wealth. Even though she comes from a wealthy family, she dresses comfortably in her helper’s old coat and hat. Besides, she is a cautious person. For instance, when she first meets Chandler, she reluctant to accept his invitation. This is because he does not know him much and does not know whether he comes with any intention. In addition, she is a clear-minded person. From the story, she appears to be the person who knows what she really wants. She is very certain about the qualities of her future husband. He must be a person who has important work to do in the world even if he is not rich. In conclusion, the character that I like is Marian because she is a low profile, cautious and clear-minded person. This character makes the story interesting.
