Based on one of the novels above, write about an interesting event that you have read in the story. Provide evidence from the text to support your response.
The novel that I studied in form 1 is The Swiss Family Robinson by Johann David Wyss (retold by Martin Powell). The most interesting event is when the family is attacked by the gigantic boa constrictor. When they encounter the cave creature, everyone in the family works together to fight the creature. Fritz launches his arrow, Jenny swings the flaming torch, Mr Robinson throws stones to distract the creature and Mrs Robinson pours the oil over the creature. They work together closely to kill the creature to keep themselves safe. This is not the most interesting event of the novel but it is indeed the most exciting one.
